Community Service in Review

It has been a great semester of service for Alpha Mu. Throughout the semester our members volunteered at over 30 events for a grand total of over 515 hours of service work for this semester. We again had the opportunity to volunteer at Light the Night walk for leukemia, March of Dimes Signature Chef’s Auction, Campus Clean-Up, Halloween at the Zoo, and Second Harvest Foodbank among many other organizations.
Some new events this semester included Achieving Collaborative Treatment, an organization that pairs runners with children with Autism spectrum disorder to go run out at picnic point. Additionally, we partnered with the UW Arboretum for an ecological restoration work party.

All in all, it was a great semester and I couldn’t have done it without the help of my committee, the rest of EBMT and the chapter. We did a lot of good this semester! Thank you so much for all of your service!
