From Devmini:

Dear Prospective Members,

Thank you for your interest in Badger AKPsi! I’m very proud to serve as this organization’s Vice President of Membership for the Fall 2023 semester, and I hope to introduce you to the same qualities of this organization that prompted me to rush. Alpha Kappa Psi is the world’s oldest and largest co-ed professional business fraternity. Our core pillars are Community Service, Professionalism, and Brotherhood; however, the insight our members gain travel far beyond that. The development that I have received as a member of AKPsi has been invaluable in growing me academically, professionally, and personally. Our 150+ members represent a wide variety of majors, backgrounds, and experiences. While each member is unique, we all share a common goal of achieving more together. Whether this be an internship, community service project, improved GPA, or better mental and physical health, AKPsi is sure to push you in ways you never thought possible. Members are empowered to get involved by planning and executing their own events in areas that matter to them, holding leadership positions, pursuing their own passion projects, and networking with companies. AKPsi makes a large campus feel more like home as we bring like-minded individuals together to create a community with lasting experiences and memories. Throughout the rush process, our Membership Team will be your most important resource. I am so excited to serve on this team along with our three Pledge Trainers: Chris Brady, Hannah Riesterer, and John Rouse. Rushing Badger AKPsi has been the best decision I made in my college experience. Now is the perfect time to surround yourself with people that will support you to be your best self, and create lifelong friendships.

I invite you to join us for our Information Session on Monday, September 11th, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in Grainger 1100 to learn more about the Recruitment process and our organization. If you are interested in learning more about our chapter, I encourage you to explore this website as well as our social media pages.

I am happy to answer any questions or address any concerns that you may have about Recruitment, so please do not hesitate to email me at djayatilaka@wisc.edu.

We look forward to meeting you at recruitment!

Sincerely,

Devmini Jayatilaka
