The Wonders of Disc Golf

I have always had an interest in simply being active, and often doing so outside. This has lead me to my passion for one of my hobbies and common activities, playing disc golf. I started playing with my childhood friends I grew up with around middle school, one being my brother Ben Brandenburg, where we would bike to our local Spassland Park during summer to play. Since then, I have found joy in playing because it is such an easy way to get outside and walk around, while also sharing a conversation with whoever you play with. There are practically courses across the country, and many in Wisconsin and especially Madison. Some good courses in Madison are Capital Springs, Hiestand Park, and also Elver Park are some of my favorites. Most courses reopen around the end of the month, so reach out if you’d ever want to play. If you like biking also, Capitol Springs is roughly 5 miles away so we could get in a 10 mile ride & a round of discing!
